Simply special! Wanda’s B&B SoleMare is the place to stay if you like cozy, clean and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed a fresh breakfast, croissants, cantaloupe, breads, orange juice and more, every morning in Wanda’s kitchen. After a busy day of hiking and touring around Portovenere, we soaked up the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace and drank a bottle of white sparkling wine compliments of Wanda. What a treat! We ate pizza both nights at La Smorfia which was only a few strides from SoleMare. Remember to have cash on hand to pay the bill upon departure. We loved the special attention we rec’d during our stay and hope to return again someday soon. Thanks again Wanda! Consiglio sulle camere: Room w/ balcony is worth the extra euros.

My boyfriend and I stayed in SoleMare for 4 nights. We originally booked 3, but once we got there and saw how special it was, we asked to extend our trip. Wanda was more than accommodating. She had breakfast ready for us every morning at our requested time, and brought us upstairs to the roof deck overlooking the ocean and town. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious every morning, Wanda would go out to the market and buy fresh bread and fruit. She gave us fresh towels on the third morning. The room we stayed in (double room without balcony) was SPOTLESS and all appliances were new. Wanda has great taste in decorating. The B&B is in an extremely convenient location, close to everything in Monterroso. You walk out your door and are steps away from restaurants, shops, and the beach. Overall, we loved every second of staying at this B&B. I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling there and if I ever make it back Wanda will be the first person I call.

Dear Wanda and host of Sole Mare, The Patokoski’s want to say thank you for all your kind assistance transporting us in your car from the Pisa airport to your fine B&B. We had a wonderful stay there and we know it was a treat to have the ride along the scenic route to Monterosso. Your roof top terrace breakfast was the best breakfast we had in our 2 week stay. We are home now and have treasured memories and pictures. Thank you so much. It is a great place that you live and we hope to return some day.

We stayed at Sole Mare B&B in September 2010. We were in italy for two weeks and Sole Mare was one the best place we stayed in. Wanda was so kind and sweet and the room was absolutely immaculate and clean and well-maintained. We are definitely going to book at Sole Mare on our next visit to Italy this summer.

We had a fantastic stay at Solemar. Perfect location in the old part of monterosso. The rooms are clean and very tastefully decorated. At last but definitely not the least a roof terrace with a view to die for where you have your brekfast every morning! The highlight of the day :)! Thank you Wanda and Emilio for your hositality! We can highly recommend Solemar and will definitely try to come back!
